St, Monica’s Church – San Francisco

Today was a celebration for one of the genuine humanitarians in San Francisco.

Sister Noreen O’ Connor was feted before an adoring crowd at St. Monica’s Church. To celebrate and commemorate 70 years serving the Catholic church in San Francisco. This day has a special meaning for Liz and me. The home we have owned and lived in for the past 40 years was at one time the home of Sister Noreen’s Uncle Jack.

The large crowd dined on food provided by Original Joes in Westlake and Tommy’s Mexican Restaurant located directly across the street from St. Monica’s.

Liz, Lee and longtime parishioner Marjan Phihour most definitely enjoyed Sister Noreen’s Jubilee celebration.
