Are you ready for (yet) another supermoon? On Wednesday, March 20, a full moon will rise due east very close to the time of the spring equinox. The spring equinox simply marks the moment in Earth’s orbit when the Sun crosses the celestial equator, but arguably the chance to watch a full moon rise at, or close to, the moment of the equinox makes this so-called “Super Worm Equinox Moon” particularly special (the position of the full moon on equinox day also lets you do some incredible celestial measurements).
